I’m writing to you from the comfort of my hotel room at the end of Emerald City Comicon day two! The convention definitely shifted into a higher gear today as crowds swelled to epic proportions inside the Washington State Convention Center. This year I’ve gone with a different game plan, which was almost like having no plan.
This year, my plan has been to walk the show floor to meet and talk with artists, writers, cosplayers, and other attendees, because to me, meeting people is a ton of fun!
Artwork and I have a tendency to be drawn together, and commissioned artwork is definitely a huge draw for me. This year is no different as I was able to revisit artists, Grace Alison and Isaac Hannaford! There will be a separate right up covering the stay at their booths!
Along with discussing all things Con and art related, I was able to cosplay this year! This is the first time I’ve cosplayed at ECCC, but had a few days under my belt thanks to also cosplaying at Star Wars Celebration last April. So, today, I donned my tunic and ignited my sabers to the delight of many attendees and even some exhibitors. It goes without saying, that this will be the last time I ever attend a con without business cards. Speaking of business cards, here’s my little plug for Infinity Sabers!
In a time when the force has once again awakened, there should be a lightsaber for all who seek the path of the force.
If you’re interested in having a custom lightsaber, Infinity Sabers is here to help you realize it. The ideas are infinite.

I think that’s enough of a plug there on the sabers! I’ll have more to share in the next few days, so please stay tuned, and be sure to follow me on twitter @dorseus for some pics of ECCC and more lightsaber news.
