The idea for this saber came out of wanting something sleeker looking than the first build. My answer was to turn to powder coating, which resulted in the black chrome of the body and emitter. At the time of construction, I was thinking of a different pommel when the Obi-wan style pommels made a return to TCSS (The Custom Saber Shop). The saber stands at about 10 inches and the grip section feels better as a one handed or off hand saber.
I left the pommel in the polished aluminum to contrast the rest of the hilt. The saber is situated with a D-ring on the pommel cubes allowing the saber to hang from a belt clip.
The saber is powered by a 3.7 V rechargeable battery and has a Prizm soundcard installed. The gold plated main and auxiliary switches are all located on the front of the saber, flanked by the recharge and R.I.C.E. ports. All four items are tucked neatly into one place for easy access for usage for use and storage.
- 3.7 V Rechargeable battery
- Prizm soundboard
- Illuminated activation switch
- R.I.C.E. cable for saber configuration
- Jedi Order blade plug
